Wow!   I just tuned in for the first time - and I'm thrilled.   My wife and I are new (5 yrs.) to the bluegrass scene -  but have become fanatics.  I'm the pastor of a little church in Marion, NY  (Wayne county,  east side of Rochester).  We have about a dozen people in our church that love bluegrass,  many of us are trying to learn instruments (myself, the banjo, and my wife, the mandolin). 

We have a a family from Arkansas (The Hartley's) that plays bluegrass full time.  They have come up the last 3 years and done concerts for us.  We have them play at our local park and on Sunday in our church.  Last year we had about 300 in attendance for the outdoor park concert.  I'll send more information as the time comes.  Hopefully you will be able to come out for it (only about 30 min from downtown Rochester).  Maybe you would even know of some venues where we can have them play.
